Dr. Luo is the owner and founder of River Park Animal Clinic. She has always wanted to become a vet since childhood. Knowing the United States has the best vet education, she left her home country in 2008 for college at Purdue University. Later finished her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Purdue University in Indiana. Since then, she has worked nonstop to enhance and expand her knowledge with a focus on senior animal care, dentistry, internal medicine medicine and feline medicine. Dr. Luo completed a two-year feline medicine course through the University of Sydney Center for Veterinary Education, with plans to become board certified in feline practice once eligible. She has also worked in emergency hospitals to help dogs and cats in need. She strives to learn the most up-to-date techniques and skills to provide the best care available to her canine and feline patients.
Dr. Luo lives in Greatwood with her husband, daughter, and their four rescued pets, including her deaf 18 year old tuxedo cat named Panda. She rescued Panda when he was ten years old, and he is living his best life in retirement. However, he still occasionally agrees to assist Dr. Luo with demonstrations for home care procedures. Panda reminds her how much a pet can thrive with love and care, and he pays her back daily with a million soft snuggles. Dr. Luo hopes to help her patients live long, happy lives just like Panda.
