State-of-the-Art Equipment

Providing the highest level of care possible means having the best tools and utilizing the latest technologies. As the veterinary field grows and advances, you can have confidence that we’re keeping up with what’s new, what’s changing, and what’s best for your pet.

We Prioritize Surgical Safety

Anesthesia is necessary for many surgical procedures, and we understand that having a pet undergo anesthesia can be stressful. While modern anesthetic drugs are generally safe, there is always a risk of adverse reactions, especially in animals with pre-existing health conditions. Closely monitoring vital signs during anesthesia and quickly reacting to any changes are crucial to promptly detecting and addressing complications. We are proud to have the latest, top-of-the-line anesthetic and monitoring equipment.

Anesthesia monitor

Our anesthesia monitor is rated the best by the veterinary anesthesia community. It can concurrently measure ECG, SpO2 (blood oxygen levels), CO2 (carbon dioxide levels), blood pressure, and temperature in an anesthetized patient. The veterinary board does not require CO2 monitoring, and you won’t find it on some facilities’ anesthesia monitors. Why do we have it?  CO2 monitoring is critical in evaluating the effective breathing of patients. If CO2 drops, it could be an indication of upcoming cardiac arrest or heart failure. For patients with higher anesthesia risk, every second counts—which is why we have invested in the best anesthetic monitor available.

Anesthesia machine

Pets are our babies, but they differ from us in many ways. Sadly, the mortality rate of pets during anesthesia is 1 out of every 10,000 procedures, and the mortality rate of animals in the preoperative period is 25 times higher than that of humans. While under anesthesia pet’s breathing is often suppressed, which hinders delivery of oxygen and gas anesthesia. The traditional anesthesia machine has no ventilator or separated ventilator—but our newest anesthesia machine has an integrated ventilator that breathes for the patient if they stop breathing for a duration of 15 seconds. It also has an auto leak test, high-precision vaporizer, and auto maintenance reminder to help us provide a smooth anesthesia and recovery. .

Faster Diagnosis, Quicker Treatment, & Increased Comfort

Our pets can’t tell us what’s wrong, which makes fast, accurate diagnostic equipment essential. We’re proud to have a suite of state-of-the-art diagnostic tools in-clinic to get answers fast so we can move on to making your pet feel better.

Ultrasound

While some veterinary facilities use human ultrasound machines, our ultrasound is designed for cats and dogs. It not only produces superior images but also has an ultra-efficient user interface to minimize setup and preparation, so we get the best images possible in the least amount of time.

X-Ray

Our X-ray has AI technology that auto-measures the settings needed to take an X-ray, reducing the time required to position and set up images by at least 15-20 minutes. This not only means it’s easier and less stressful for our patients, but it also means we can get images faster.

Eye pressure gauge (tonometer)

Our eye pressure gauge is the newest available, and it’s not only more accurate but also fast and comfortable—thus reducing the patient’s stress. It adjusts itself based on the species of pets and is more accurate than traditional eye pressure gauges without specific settings. It can take one measurement or multiple measurements all at once for a more accurate evaluation, and it’s extremely gentle and will not cause stress or annoyance to the pet. See how it works here.
