Early detection is key when it comes to treating your pet, and River Park Animal Clinic offers complete in-house diagnostics, including the latest equipment and an on-site laboratory. This saves time, money, and most importantly, you don’t have to wait overnight for results—meaning your pet gets a diagnosis and the treatment they need sooner.

In-House Laboratory

We have the capacity to perform various blood screens, pre-anesthetic bloodwork, urinalysis, and other types of testing on-site instead of sending samples to an outside lab.

Testing provided in the clinic includes:

• Liver enzyme screening
• Pancreatic evaluation
• Renal (Kidney) profiles
• Complete blood counts
• General chemistries
• Blood gases
• FeLV, FIV in cats
• Parvovirus in dogs

While we do offer an extensive range of on-site testing, it is possible that your pet may need laboratory work beyond our scope. For those cases, we partner with a high-quality external lab that will return results to us as quickly as possible. 

Advanced Imaging

River Park Animal Clinic is proud to have both state-of-the-art digital X-ray equipment and a veterinary ultrasound machine. This allows us to get clear, high-quality images fast—and faster results mean a faster diagnosis and more rapid, targeted treatment for your pet. We evaluate all images in-clinic and also have the ability to send images out to be evaluated by board-certified veterinary radiologists.
